Working with Teenagers Fifteen Years and Older

Therapy for Teenagers
Wendy has years of experience working with teenagers with behavioral and mental health issues. I work with kids 15 years and older, through a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens to help them explore and connect with themselves, their values and their dreams for the future. I also work with parents to help build stronger connections and healthier relationships with their teen.
Is your teenager struggling? Maybe they don’t listen to you, they argue and you are concerned about their future. You try to connect, but they push you away. Therapy for your teen can help.
Therapy for teens can give them a place to explore their emotions, express their views and learn healthy communication skills. They can gain a sense of individuality and develop a sense of self. These skills can help them build confidence, which can reduce outbursts, and improve family relationships.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming.
