Where are you located?
I am located in the East Valley in Mesa, Arizona. We can work together in-person or I offer telehealth appointments for anyone residing in Arizona.
What are your operating hours?
By Appointment Only
Mondays 9am-4pm Telehealth Only
Tuesdays 9am-4:30pm In-person and telehealth available.
Wednesdays 9am-3:00pm In-person and telehealth available.
Do you take insurance?
I do not take insurance. I can supply you with a superbill that you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
How long is each session and what is the cost?
I offer 60 minute and 90 minute sessions. Generally, therapy sessions are 60 minutes long. I recommend 90 minute sessions for grief therapy. We can discuss your preferences together.
60 minute sessions = $120 per session
90 minute sessions = $150 per session

What are your qualifications?
Wendy graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from ASU in 2020, then received a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Prescott College in 2023. I have worked as a counselor for four years facilitating individual, family and group therapy sessions.
Previous Experience
Before opening Wildflower Counseling, I worked as a counselor at Rancho Del Pacifico with children, teens and adults. Rancho Del Pacifico is a mental health equine and animal assisted therapy ranch. I now work with clients in the office rather than out on the ranch. I am a Certified Compassionate Bereavement Specialist with training in treating traumatic grief and loss from the Miss Foundation. I am a Certified Complex Trauma Professional and I am a member of the Mormon Mental Health Association which specializes in the supporting those who are navigating their faith journey within a Mormon (LDS) context.
Before pursuing my counseling career, I was a professional cake artist and spent many years baking and decorating wedding and birthday cakes while teaching the art of cake decorating to children, teens and adults.
