Where are you located?

I am located in the East Valley in Mesa, Arizona. We can work together in-person or I offer telehealth appointments for anyone residing in Arizona.

What are your operating hours?

Mondays 8am-4pm at Rancho Del Pacifico

Tuesdays 8am-4:30pm In-person and telehealth available.

Do you take insurance?

I do not take insurance at Wildflower Counseling. However, I can supply you with a superbill that you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

In addition to running my private practice, I work part-time at Rancho Del Pacifico and see clients in the office in Chandler or online. I also take most insurance. Please call Rancho Del Pacifico to schedule an appointment at 480-802-8059.

How long is each session and what is the cost?

At Wildflower Counseling, I offer 60 minute sessions and 90 minute sessions. The length of the sessions is based on your preference. Generally, therapy sessions are 60 minutes long. Some people prefer 90 minute sessions which I am happy to accommodate.

60 minute sessions = $90 per session

90 minute sessions = $120 per session

What are your qualifications?

Wendy graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology from ASU in 2020, then received a Master’s of Science degree in Counseling specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Prescott College in 2023. I have worked as a counselor for four years facilitating individual, family and group therapy sessions.

Previous Experience

Before opening Wildflower Counseling, I worked as a counselor at Rancho Del Pacifico with children, teens and adults. Rancho Del Pacifico is a mental health equine and animal assisted therapy ranch. I now work with clients in the office rather than out on the ranch. I am a Certified Compassionate Bereavement Specialist with training in treating traumatic grief and loss from the Miss Foundation. I am a Certified Complex Trauma Professional and I am a member of the Mormon Mental Health Association which specializes in the supporting those who are navigating their faith journey within a Mormon (LDS) context.

Before pursuing my counseling career, I was a professional cake artist and spent many years baking and decorating wedding and birthday cakes while teaching the art of cake decorating to children, teens and adults.
