Trauma Therapy
Are you feeling overwhelmed, tired all the time and defeated? You want to scream but are not sure anyone will listen? You care for everyone around you and you wish someone would care for you. You want help, but you don’t want to have to ask for it.
Maybe things have happened to you that you have never told anyone, or when you did you were dismissed, told it wasn’t a big deal and “you need to move on”. Maybe you are noticing trouble sleeping, physical pain that can’t be explained, feeling lonely while surrounded by people, and just wanting to be heard.
I provide trauma therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD and religious trauma. We can work together to identify, validate and understand what is happening while building skills of compassion and curiosity.
I use a variety of interventions including strengths-based CBT and DBT, expressive arts and we incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion.
“People start to heal the moment they feel heard.”
